Dewey Beach — Family Portraits
An early morning wake up call in Dewey Beach with the Heller family was the best way to start my beach vacay!
This was truly a special session for me to capture in many ways. The first time I took their family photos was nearly 8 years ago — pre-babies! It is an incredible feeling to see families grow + change year to year and I could hardly believe how much P + A have grown!
It was an added treat to have the whole family in on the sunrise fun — including grandma, who got lots of hugs and snuggles from her grand-babies during our session.
There were three things that stuck with me after this session.
Taking a step back and letting children interact with each other + nature can make for some of the best photos. Some of my favorites from this session were the unposed and natural ones — chasing waves, silly poses, uncontrollable giggles.
Nothing matters more than the people you love. Life is short and is always changing. Hug those you love and enjoy the little things.
The beach makes everything better :)
